lol Perhaps I will revisit Vella when it’s a more stable product, but right now…it’s just a time waster. I can’t pull it down from Vella for 30 days which is fine because at the moment I’m focused on NaNoWriMo. So a few days ago, I marked my story was complete at 10 episodes. If I had the money, I’d make my books into audiobooks, but I don’t have the speaking voice for that and I’d have to hire someone PLUS rent studio time to get that professional sound. I still have my Smashwords and Barnes & Noble Press accounts. At the time, Amazon was the best thing going on the self-publishing block, but I think that exclusivity has made it difficult for others to locate my work. It may be more advantageous for me to spread my work around again. I really tried to make Amazon work…Kindle Vella work…just the whole thing, but I think I’ve been cutting my nose off to spite my face. I also think I’m going to distribute it on other platforms, not just exclusive to Amazon when I am done. I’m going to finish it and make it an ebook.
